Garlic ‘crostini’

Very simple, yet very tasty:

Make ciabatta. Leave to age for a day or two. Alternatively, buy a good quality one from a shop.

Put two bulbs of garlic in the oven at 180degC, wrapped in foil, with or without a bit of oil, for about 30 minutes or until your kitchen is filled with the smell of cooked garlic.

When cooked, the garlic flesh should be very soft, like a paste.

Slice ciabatta diagonally, thinly. Toast until light brown. Drizzle with extra virgin olive oil.

Spread roasted garlic on toasted bread. Grind salt and pepper on top. Eat.
