Beirut

There’s a fast food place called Beirut on Smallbrook Queensway (opposite the Radisson) that does felafel and hummous, and various aubergine dishes – its been there for ages, apparently.

A member of VeganFitness forums says: “I got a fallafel roll from there on Wednesday night, it was yummy and didn’t fall apart in my hand. It was fallafel, tomato, onion, pickled chillies and some lettuce. It looked like you could put together a few good vegans meals from the sides and starters. There was also humous and tabuleh.”
